Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the 2016 Kells Kings Charity Cycle in aid of Cois Nore was another great success. Funds raised went towards the provision of compassionate and emotional support for those who are dealing with the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Also benefiting from the monies raised were some local charity organisations.
This year’s event took place on Saturday 27th August, with something for everyone regardless of whether a serious or social cyclist, or just fancy a fun day out. As in previous years, hundreds of cyclists of all ages and levels of fitness took part in the 116km, 68km, 45km and 7.5km routes, all of which started and finished in Kells.
